PHP 8.1 TypeError: array_merge(): Argument #2 must be of type array, Drupal\Core\Template\AttributeArray given in array_merge()

Problem

PHP 8.1 Gets a type error as the module is trying to pass AttributeArray class instead of an array.
TypeError: array_merge(): Argument #2 must be of type array, Drupal\Core\Template\AttributeArray given in array_merge()
