I've got two fields - country and city (country being a term reference, city being a node with an entity reference field attaching a country). Both are set to unlimited cardinality and so should allow multiple values for each field to be selected.
When I select a country, the select field appears but will only allow a single option to be selected. Please see attached screen capture. Using Drupal 9.4.8.

It's likely this issue predates Contrib.social: some issue and comment data are missing.
I am experiencing similiar issue.
When I select first option i can see updated list, however if both selected I cannot see all options availble as stated on attached picture.
#4saccard I guess your issue was different, or do you think your addvice can help also in my case ,but have not clue how to configure it at the moment.
