I installed the module and limited user comments to 1, but I still encounter the same issue. There doesn't seem to be a limit on posting comments.

We have updated the module from version 2.0.0 to 2.0.1.
We are using Drupal 9.4.8 on PHP 7.4
On the comment we have an entity reference field, from which we can relate content from the site (other nodes).
Everything has worked as expected.
After updating the module there is no limit for posting comments.
Uninstalling and reinstalling the module, as well as downgrade to version 2.0.0 doesn't help either.

It's likely this issue predates Contrib.social: some issue and comment data are missing.
