I'm experiencing the same on v8.x-.2.4. Can this fix be made on the release version as well as the DEV version? It renders the module useless until fixed.

Thanks everyone and sorry for the delay. I'm not sure why the tests aren't working, however it's the same on HEAD, so not related to this patch.
