I am having the same problem but not having any luck with the newest version of s3fs.
I have this issue, wrong path in preview using S3 File System like in the image
I'm using Drupal core 9.5.0-beta2 with IMCE 8.x-2.5, S3 File System 8.x-3.0-beta7
