add automated tests

There is no JS testing framework in D7, which is presumably one reason why tests have never been added to jQuery Update.

However, it would still be useful for the jQuery Update module to have tests; a lot of what the module does should be testable.

Let's start adding tests so that we can at least try to ensure that new functionality that's being added works as intended.

If we can add regression tests for older functionality too, that'd be great.

There are now a useful set of tests for the module; adding them helped fix a few bugs and solved the mystery outlined in #4.

It'd be good to add more tests for existing functionality, and any new functionality should ideally be accompanied by tests.

However, I don't think there's much benefit to keeping this issue open.
