Advantage of this module?

Problem/Motivation

Sorry if it is a silly question but would i want to use this module for any reason if i already know the Google font i need?

There doesn't seem to be a solution for deploying something using this module as i would need to import the entire Google font library (start it 20 min ago and still running) and re-save a setting (to build .css file??) every time i do a build.

Is there a downside to just adding this:

   <link rel="stylesheet"
          href="https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Tangerine">
    <style>

to my html.tpl?
