I am experiecing the same problem as kumar kumar stated.
When I run update.php, I get a HTTP 500 error :(I lost access to GUI
Get this error with any new content submission and white screen stop. Content does get saved but the site hard stops in a white screen with this error. This should be major since it involves any new content creation. This error goes away when I revert to 3.1.0. Error happens with both core versions 9.4.4 and 9.4.5, PHP 7.4.12 and 8.0.
