1. Module seems to have its own mind about what file extensions are "valid", instead of following the Core Media Library settings
2. Imported files are not organized into the folders that would be applied to uploaded files
1. Use "Valid Extensions" to determine importable files for each media type, from the field edit settings such as: /admin/structure/media/manage/video/fields/media.video.field_media_video_file
2. Move files to the directory specified in "file directory", also from field edit settings
