There have been a few small changes to D7's drupal_http_request() since the last release of this module, and there's at least one more change "in the pipeline".
This module should re-sync with core, and do a new release.
For example:
$ kdiff3 /path/to/drupal-7.x/includes/common.inc /path/to/drupal-7.x/sites/all/modules/contrib/alt_http_client/alt_http_client.module
Sync changes from:
...and any others as necessary.
