This is due to probably a new version of dompdf. We encountered the same and the following patch was the fix
We had this issue previously, but it was fixed via a patch. Now that the module has been updated, the problem has returned. It says in the PDF and in the logs that the image cannot be found:
Invoice logo does not exist or cannot be found: https://www.tgci.com/sites/default/files/TGCI-logo-inside.png
The image does indeed exist and is the one we've used for over a year. I even tried replacing the code in the template with the link straight to the logo. Issue continues.
