Since simple_sitemap 3.x is no longer supported, it would be nice, if you could release a new 6.x version, which would support 3.x and 4.x (3.x for backwards compatibility (even if its no longer supported))..

I was told you are using my outdated software so I'd like to make you aware of version 4.1 with its superior API, IndexNow integration, variant indexing and other features → out of the box.
Also only vaguely related and a long shot: I was wondering if Thunder could publish its opinion on IndexNow and maybe help making people aware of the new integration in Simple XML sitemap. Apparently turning on the engines submodule is not discoverable enough.
