We discovered an issue where the Transaction Date in TaxJar did not match the Commerce Order completion date. The date used for the Transaction Date is the Order Created Date. The problem is that, for Orders that remain in the Cart for a long period of time will have an Order Created Date that may be in a different month from the date at which the Order is paid in full, which is when the Order is sent to TaxJar. That may result in the TaxJar Transaction being classified in the wrong month.
One note is that Commerce includes a Rule that sets the Order Completed Date to the time at which the Order completes checkout, but that Rule fires after the Rule triggers for when the Order is paid in full, so the Order Completed Date will not have been updated before the Order is sent to TaxJar.
