Read time only on specific fields

Problem/Motivation

The read time currently includes all the text fields on the page. We have a requirement to only use one or two fields on the page. When we need a way to select the fields the read time needs to be applied.

Proposed resolution

On the settings page, we need to list all the fields for the selected nodes. Not only the fields but also the paragraphs and sub-paragraphs as there may be situations where the node only has paragraphs.

I'm currently working on a solution and will post here when ready.
