Cannot disable IMCE from CKEditor link button

The general "Link" button in CKEditor has IMCE attached to it:

I do not want to have IMCE injected here, and cannot find any way to disable this.

How can I remove this? We only needed IMCE for one specific aspect of the backend, not everywhere. Note that this is the general Link button with CKEditor, not the IMCE File Manager link button that is also available.

    I don't think this should be marked as fixed. The "Open file browser" is present in the default CK link tool, so that is not the issue.

    I agree - it is appearing on buttons/modals it should not be appearing on. It is used in one very specific place for us. Everywhere else I want editors using LinkIt.

    I agree - In my use case only the Administrator Role can use this feature but it appears in the modal for other roles as well when selecting Media from the Media Library in the modal.

    It will not allow the issue to be re-opened, so it has to be re-filed.
