API token is supported now, for anyone reaching this issue via search. The following permissions worked for me:
- Zone > Cache Purge > Purge
- Zone > Zone > Read
- Zone > Zone Settings > Read
Would be good for the "quick start" instructions to have some details about which permissions are needed when setting up the Cloudflare API token.
I'm just guessing here...
