Aggregate views field settings is confusing

Problem/Motivation

Currently in order to show the sum in views, you have to go to "Multiple Field Settings", and click on "Simple count". The label "Simple count" is a bit confusing because the actual field item definition is called "count". In the case that a field will have multiple values, (which I imagine to be the majority of cases), this is technically multiple counts.
The display below allowing you to display X values starting from Y, with "reversed" or "first and last" is also misleading as this is completely ignored.

Proposed resolution

  • Change the label to "Simple aggregate count"
  • Add a #states value to hide the display settings when "Simple aggregate count" is selected.
