Cardinality does not factor in count of referenced entities

Problem/Motivation

The widget will show with blank labels if the cardinality is set to a number higher than the actual count of referenced entities.

Steps to reproduce

  • Create a new tally "term reference" field.
  • The taxonomy vocabulary used should have, for example, 3 terms.
  • Set the cardinality to 6.
  • The widget will now show 3 blank fields with no label.

Proposed resolution

The widget should be aware if it runs out of referenced entities, specifically in the context of the available select options. When there are no more options available, exist the loop for form element items.
