(v 3.2) Remove Droopler dependency on core Search module

Problem/Motivation

I have enabled Solr search and created index and view in site based on droopler 3. When I create facets suddenly all the results in the view disappear. and when i remove the facets, the results are restored. i read somewhere that it is necessary to disable the core search module when using solr and facets. core search is a dependency of droopler.

i wonder if it is possible to remove the dependency on core search without breaking droopler? can anyone help wit advice on this? thank you!
