Subscribe to additional groups during user registration does not work for contacts already present in a MailChimp audience

Import contacts via MailChimp with some group assigned
Create a user account on Drupal with one of the imported email with Mailchimp Subscription field active and Interest groups enabled
Select some groups other than the one assigned importing contact via MaillChimp
The user is registered, the subscription is still active for the assigned groups, but not for those selected during the registration
If the user does not select any group during registration he gets completely unsubscribed and its contact achieved in MailChimp, even if the interest groups assigned during import is kept selected (I opened a related issue 🐛 Don't opt-out of interest groups for Mailchimp Subscription field Closed: won't fix for that)

Probably implementing in the List (Audience) submodule the "Don't opt-out of interest groups" behaviour present in the Signup form can fix the issue.
