I have been successfully using the known good configuration ( https://www.drupal.org/project/plupload_widget/issues/3107637 🌱 Known good configuration Fixed ) without problems on D8 for uploading multiple images into a core image field, but now preparing for an upgrade to D9. With the know good configuration, the widget appears correctly for a core image field, and accepts multiple image files in one go, uploads, processes and then displays correctly. Now looking to update to D9, I have updated to the following:
Drupal 8.9.19
Plupload 2.0.0-beta1
Plupload file widget 2.0.0-beta1
Plupload library 2.3.6
No patches applied to any of the above
Now when I upload, the widget appears correctly, drag and drop multiple images on, they all upload to 100%, but ONLY the first uploaded image actually processes and gets displayed, i.e. drag and drop 3x images, 3x images show as uploading, but only 1x then becomes a processed and entered file. Basically, you can only upload one image at a time.
I have also tried updating library to the latest 3.1.3, but this takes a step backwards. Using this version, drag and drop, images upload, but then ZERO get processed and added as images in the field. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
EDIT:
Just to confirm, I have tried the known good configuration WITH an update of Plupload to 2.0.0-beta1, which also works perfectly... just appears to be the update for Plupload File Widget 8x-1.0 (with KGC patches) to 2.0.0-beta1 which is having a small issue.
