I'm wondering what one should do if this was done ages ago and you need to stop the error after-the-fact. The process for doing it with modules is well-documented, but not for profiles.
I went through the steps of uninstalling lightning from this page: https://github.com/acquia/lightning/wiki/Uninstalling-Lightning. I'm now seeing the error "The profile lightning does not exist".
1. Uninstall lightning using these steps in a lower environment: https://github.com/acquia/lightning/wiki/Uninstalling-Lightning
2. On Acquia pull down current Production database (that still uses the lightning profile) to a lower environment
3. When I run drush cr, updb, or cim in the lower environment, I get the error "The profile lightning does not exist" so I can't pull in the necessary updates.
