We don't need this anymore. We already do run core commit checks, and it's been serving us quite well!

which makes sure we don't have standards violations that will be flagged when making a core patch
But we still have some nits that will be flagged by reviewers.
I have a script I use for core development that looks for these and fails if they are found. It also can add new patterns to look for.
Let's use this to save time later. This script will just be for pre-core development
