Module not operating?

I may not have the concept correct here, but this is what I find:

1. I want to restrict a set of pages on my site so that *only authorised users can access*...ie, anonymous users *may not* access pages at a given URL

2. Ideally, wildcard should work since there are likely to be many pages in a given region of the website. Listing each page is not practical. However, for testing purposes, I tried URL Restrict with both wild card and for an individual page. The screenshot shows wildcard, but

3. You can see the configuration in the screenshot below. The anonymous user should *NOT* be able to see this page:

https://dev-bnhcrc-resources.pantheonsite.io/ddr/home

But clearly they can.

What am I doing wrong?

I think this is a very important idea to understand this. Maybe it should be documented in the module page and the readme file? Specially in the "Configuration" section in both these areas where it says "Chose the roles to be restricted;".

Otherwise many like me end up wondering why the module is not working in a very basic setup also. :)
