Updating this now that 3.x is the official default branch.
Perhaps we can look at what Drupal 10 + Gin officially support, and just document that so we can close this?
In working on the changes for a 2.x version of farmOS-map, I discovered that the current farmOS JS on IE 11 does not appear to work correctly due to using unsupported modern JS features - the most obvious being arrow (lambda) functions.
Before pursuing fixing any browser compatibility issues with my changes for farmOS-map, I'd like us to formally decide what set of browsers farmOS 2.x intends to support by default. That information can then inform what work is needed.
