Problem/Motivation

The D7 core patch in #3200198: [D7] password reset form prevent revealing email or username in use β†’ is almost ready to be committed to D7 core possibly on 2021-12-01.

This module has been very useful for a long time. However, with the core patch it is no longer needed and if it is enabled it will override the changes in the core patch that includes a message consistent with drupal 9 and adds watchdog messages that are an improvement and included with drupal 9.

When the patch is committed to D7 core this module will no longer be needed, unless I am missing something, and the project page documentation will need to be updated. Many thanks to the maintainers of the project for the service this module has provided.

With d7 support fading away, this module has dropped support for Drupal 7 and added a message on the project page. If there are additional routes you need to secure, you'll need to patch core or make a custom module to handle those use cases.
