I see a "Clear related data" link now with this module, but I wasn't sure if it removes the new fields I created for my menu, the content added to them in the menu items, or something else. The confirmation page doesn't help to illuminate things for me (I see it's described as "extra data" in that page's title, but I'm still not sure what the "related/extra data" it's referring to is). The "This action cannot be undone" messaging makes me nervous (despite #3037983: Add permission to Clear related data → , even I as an admin don't understand the link, and I have a user that due to power structures -- being my boss -- insists on being an admin despite not always understanding/appreciating the power that entails, so she might click on it attempting to accomplish something other than what it's supposed to do).
Before getting too far into configuring things, I tried it out, clicking the link and confirming, but it didn't seem to do anything. My config export remain unchanged, and the content added to the my menu item's fields remained in place. So now I'm even more confused. Perhaps it's broken?

At a minimum, add text to the confirmation page explaining what "Clear related data" does (and/or perhaps what it doesn't do).
