The Footer Menu font color is always something like grey or so and hardly to read. It does not matter what font link color (w3-link-white) or link background color (w3-link-bg-green) I use.
Just use a Footer Menu - even with the default colors it is always reproducible.
The Footer Menu links should be easily readable.
