This work has now been merged into the Drupal Marketing toolkit - as an educational version of the slide deck.
In addition to the existing Promote Drupal pitch deck, it would be useful to have a deck targeted at individual technologists who are looking to learn Drupal.
While many resources like this exist in the community, having a Drupal-branded deck that can be used at events for newcomers to the community would be helpful.
A first draft of the slide deck exists. It needs work to target the content more to people who are completely new to Drupal.
