Country Path actually has its own cache context of
url.countrythat one should use instead ofurl.site. Not sure if that actually solves this issue, but I came across this one looking for something else and figured I'd mention it :)
With the Shield module enabled on a testing environment, we are encountering 404s on some page loads, namely the front page of a domain, for authenticated users. If caches are cleared, and an anonymous user browses the site, the pages then load fine for authenticated users. As soon as I disabled Shield the symptoms go away.
