Shield module causing 404s on uncached pages

With the Shield module enabled on a testing environment, we are encountering 404s on some page loads, namely the front page of a domain, for authenticated users. If caches are cleared, and an anonymous user browses the site, the pages then load fine for authenticated users. As soon as I disabled Shield the symptoms go away.

Country Path actually has its own cache context of url.country that one should use instead of url.site. Not sure if that actually solves this issue, but I came across this one looking for something else and figured I'd mention it :)
