In the task tutorial, 6.2. Deleting a Content Type → , the steps to delete a content type are complete, but we don't mention the implications of this action, such as what happens to the content when a content type is deleted (and can you even delete a content type if there is content already created with it).
Common questions related to deleting a content type are not addressed in this tutorial. Questions such as: If I delete this content type, 1) what happens to the content? and 2) what happens to the fields?
The motivation for this is that at Drupalize.Me, where we host the User Guide, we received feedback asking "What happens to the content when you delete a content type?"
The various implications of deleting a content type could be addressed in a "concept" tutorial related to deleting content types, possibly including fields in it as well.

Here's some additional feedback/questions we (Drupalize.Me) received about this tutorial:
Do you need to delete the content type's custom fields first before deleting
the content type? In D7, I think if the custom fields were not deleted first,
they still exist in the database. Not sure if this is taken care of in D8+,
but it would be nice to make that clear regardless.
