respect language on Redirect

I have a simple redirect setup to an alias, which has translations. When users trigger the action, they are redirected to the default language version of the alias. I've tried using both /alias and alias on it's own, both seem to have the same effect.
I'd have expected the language prefer to be maintained through the redirect, am I missing something? Is there any way to make this work?

It's likely this issue predates Contrib.social: some issue and comment data are missing.

  • I am also facing the same problem. I have a simple page refirect after finishing a quiz attempt.

No matter what language the user is in, Rules will always be redirected to the page in the site's default language version. For me it is also a bug in the module.
