Since this feature was recently added, I'll go ahead and close this issue.

It would be very helpful to be able to set custom colors for the event titles backgrounds on the calendar view according to audience type (i.e. set Adults to have a green background, kids to have a blue...). This would add a way to quickly identify events on the calendar view that would be of interest for an individual.
CSS would be easy enough to add for this if the individual events on the calendar had their audience type added as a class.
