Hopefully this is a really simple question.
Provided I'm using at least Drupal core 8.8, and at least Drush 10, are there any drawbacks or potential problems to upgrading this module from 8.x-1.x to 8.x-2.x?
I already have some different configurations set up in a site, and use Config Split to export the configuration for different stages of the development cycle to different folders, and have the .yml files for those split configuration files ready to import when needed. I'm using Config Filter 8.x-1.x. If I were to upgrade to 8.x-2.x is there anything that might (theoretically) stop working, or is the 8.x-2.x branch intended to be fully backwards compatible?
