awssdk v3.157.0 breaks site when CSS aggregate/compress enabled

Problem/Motivation

Upgraded from awssdk v3.154.6 to v3.171.8, and found that sites started displaying broken pages whenever CSS aggregate/compress was enabled. Once the "Aggregate and compress CSS files" option is disabled, everything works fine again. After seeing this problem, I then tried to upgrade to v3.172.0 and experienced the same issue. Downgrading to v3.154.6 resolved the problems.

Steps to reproduce

Run a test site using awssdk v3.154.6, upgrade to 3.171.8, set "Aggregate and compress CSS files" to enabled in the site Performance settings (admin/config/development/performance). Attempt to load various pages and edit nodes, and eventually will see either broken CSS, broken images, or pages that load with a white screen (especially when editing nodes).

Proposed resolution

At this time just posting a warning that versions higher than v3.154.6 are showing erratic behavior. I'm not sure what has changed in awssdk since then that causes a conflict with s3fs 7.x-3.x. Further investigation is needed.
