Block shows on unpublished nodes

Hi, beautiful module, thank you.

Slight problem:

  • when a block is placed below the node
  • and in block config ‘is published’
  • the social share still appears to users
  • when the node is ‘unpublished’

I do not want users to try share their unpublished node as it will cause error on social networks.

Is this a core issue or maybe we can create a rule to hide the node if ‘unpublished’?

Most appreciate any guidance 🌿

    Hi @Liliplanet,

Which module(s) are / were you using to get the "Node is published" visibility check to appear? To the best of my knowledge, the visibility condition functionality is outside of the scope of social_media. The block plugin provided by this module doesn't override access control in any way.

Could you double-check to confirm that this is still an issue, and if so, let us know which other modules are in use?

    Thanks!
