Drupal 9.2.0 is intending to ship with a dependency on Composer 2.0. This module has a dependency on Composer 1, so there will be a conflict. It is likely you will have to release a new version of this module that depends on Composer 2 instead in order for this to be compatible with Drupal 9.2 and above.
