Drupal removed its automatic entity-updates API in 8.7 error

Probably this is related to Drush, but posting here to follow up:

I installed 2.0.x-dev version on a clean D9, when I try to execute drush upe it shows
Command "upe" is not defined.

and if I try drush entity-update it shows

where UpdateDBCommands.php refers to vendor/drush/drush/src/Commands/core/UpdateDBCommands.php
