  1. Welcome Surabhi to the swag shop team :-)
  2. Review charter and agree any updates or amendments
  3. Discuss current product selection and process for recommending new designs
  4. Agree roles and responsibilities
  5. Social media and communications policy
  6. How to engage with DE&I
  7. Create a draft marketing plan

Notes

  1. We welcomed Surabhi to the team!
  2. Reviewed the charter, no issues were raised - OK to adopt
  3. Current process:
    1. Raise an issue in the queue
    2. The team will review the requests and raise requests for new designs or products with the DA
    3. All dialogue happens in the issue queue
    4. Community Liaison or other DA representative will mark as RTBC when approved
    5. Swag shop team take action as appropriate and set the issue to fixed when live on the shop
    6. Swag shop team assign credits to those who have contributed to the issue
  4. Agree roles and responsibilities - will have a wider discussion in the next meeting
  5. Social media and communications policy - It would be helpful to have clarity over how the team responds on social media and who manages the Swag Shop account. Maybe the CWG have some best practices that they could share with the team? Rachel will introduce the Swag Shop team to the CWG with a view to looking into this.
  6. There are some aspects we can’t control but those that we can, we are actively working on:
    1. Ensuring there are not pricing differences across regions and genders
    2. Ensuring that colours and designs are made available across genders
    3. Raising with Spreadshirt the option to have the ability to customise the text on the menu/categories
    4. It could be helpful to have a representative from the DD&I leadership on the Swag Shop Working Group - to make an invite
  7. We need to make a plan for how to market the Swag Shop during the beta period and beyond - Surabhi will take this on and will share a first draft in the next meeting!
  8. AOB: Nothing to be raised at this point
