Using Drupal 8.9.1 with Thunder 5.1

This was working fine a few weeks ago. Had not used it for a while and now that I try to use it, it does not work.
- On my VBO view, I select to display all items. Then filter out only article node.
- Then on my VBO page, I select multiple items (3 for example) and click on button that says "modify field values".
- First problem visible. I only selected 3 article nodes yet the edit field values page tells me I selected 8 items, 3 articles (correct) and 5 pages (incorrect, they were not even visible on the page since they are filtered out).
- On the articles, I select "Add values to multi-value fields" and under Tag taxonomy I select the tag I wish to add.
- Try to click "Apply" and nothing happens. It seems the button is dead because I get no errors and doesn't even seem to take anything.
I am not sure if this is a VBO bug or a VBE bug or why the button doesnt work, nor why it adds extra selected items I didn't select. Seems like it cached some from previous view? I try to clear cache and nothing.
Any idea what is causing this and how to fix it?

I have the same experience; #9 worked.
My problem was that it was necessary to make one site (about 2000 nodes) language neutral. The corresponding view worked for all content types except Article, where nothing happened when I clicked Apply. The script worked fine when I changed all the required fields to non-required.
