Unable to create users or access the users overview page

I just installed the latest 3.0 version of this module and enabled it. I granted the permissions:

- Access the users overview page
- Assign allowed roles
- Create new users

However I'm unable to create users or even view the overview page.. I get an access denied.

Am I missing something here?
