Reference to the taxonomy term not deleted when hashtag is removed from the body

Hi,
I tried to install and use the module.
I found this behavior that from my point of view is not correct

1. Enable hashtag for a content type (i.e. article)
2. Create a new article with an hashtag in the body --> the term is created, added to the taxonomy and referenced by the article
3. Edit the article and remove the hashtag from the body --> the reference to the hashtag term is not removed, the article still appear on the taxonomy term page of the deleted hashtag

I think this is not correct and should be fixed.
