I am just wondering, if this "widget" can be available in "Views Exposed Filters" where we use select & checkboxes ... then the exposed view pages will look very nice. I m imagining a page with buttons of categories at top and will get filtered results when the button is clicked!
For example : https://viccoestore.com/shop/ ... this is wordpress site. Just showing you to give fair idea..
I think if we can pre-process/hook "Views Exposed Filters" form and allow this widget then it should be possible. I dont know how. But if you guide me, i may be little helpful..
