Bug & Workaround: Doesn't work for built-in Basic Page but does for new Content Type

I couldn't get the background image to show on the out-of-the-box/built-in/default Basic Page content type that comes with the Drupal 8 installation.

BUT: it does work with a content type that I created.

So the WORKAROUND is to use it with newly created content types.
