Actually, yes. A install profile we use is not compatible with it.... There are plenty of other reasons not to use it...

Most of the time we don't use Layout Builder, it's overkill and allows unstructured content.
We're using Field Layout (and whatever its successor will be) which helps provide consistent layouts to fit with a strong design. The client can be provided with multiple options for different types of pages.
