Migrate to D8?

Also wondering about this, I have an old D7 site with the Picture module and was wondering how to structure the migration to D9's Responsive Images. Anyone got a sample YAML or process plugin to make sure the proper elements map correctly? Or do we treat it like a bog-standard Image field?

I am closing all very old tickets that have not received comments for a long time. If someone still faces these issues or thinks they are relevant, please reopen it. Feel free to contribute with more info or a patch.
