"Movable Nav Bar" covering large parts of the screen.

The flexible nav-bar is large enough to cover most of the screen on a laptop, and covers almost the whole screen on smaller devices.
Is there any way to make it smaller in size? Shrinking it vertically by a few pixels in the template files.
Have been searching among all the files (paid version) but have only found settings for horizontal size of the nav bar.
Is the vertical size not included in the code?
