Label special characters are encoded

When using the label of taxonomy terms for the label of my menu items, the special characters are being encoded. For example, if my term name is "Remodeling & Design" the ampersand is encoded in the jump menu. See screen shot. Using the same fields and changing the format to "Unformatted list" displays the labels correctly.

I'm still experiencing this issue with 8.x-1.0-rc1 on D9.5.10.

It appears the above patches were committed. I'm at a loss trying to figure out what could be retriggering it.

@tonka67 I reviewed the code and can confirm the updates have been added correctly. If I were you I'd throw in some debugging around https://git.drupalcode.org/project/views_jump_menu/-/blob/8.x-1.0-rc1/vi... and see what's going on. It could be your what you are inputting, perhaps it is already decoded?
