Currently, once you upload an image and set the alt text/title the alt text and title do not immediately show up, but they do appear once you reload the page.
At this point the alt text and title are visible in editable input fields, but if you change the text and save the page the changes do not actually save.
If you edit the alt/title text via the edit button for that media entry OR if you do it directly via admin/content/file the changes do save.
This can be confusing for editors/content leads
I would expect/recommend either:
1. Editing the text in the fields available without clicking the edit button, and then hitting save at the bottom of the screen will save the values.
or
2. Don't display the values as seemingly editable input fields.

It's likely this issue predates Contrib.social: some issue and comment data are missing.
This is still an issue with the latest versions of Media and File Entity 2.x. I've updated the patch so it applies to the latest version of Media.
