There is only on new content notification. It maybe better to add checkbox in content section to notify about content modification.

If I undestand correctly, this module does not distinguish between new and updated content. Notifications are sent on both events afaict.

Rules recognises the following events:

After deleting

After Saving

After Updating

Before Saving

Viewing

I am thinking it might be better to add rules support rather than trying to reinvent the wheel.

Same for ETA
